Face Feminisation Tips and Tricks
This is the makeup tutorial I use to look more feminine:
Skin care first (please see my skin care tutorial).
I line my eyebrows using an angled brush and the Romanced Eyeshadow Palette (w7) - using Romeo to draw a square around my inner eyebrow and lining the rest of the brow in Affair to produce a natural gradient and make the brows look less drawn on. I then top off Affair with the Brow Sculpt Kit (Body Shop), blending it into the centre to give a larger difference between the dark and the light and then top of with Affair again to help set the pencil. Press in the Technic Soft Focus Transparent Loose Powder (Technic) with a powder puff and sweep away any excess around the brow, leaving the brow looking white (this will set the brow and keep it on all day).
Use the Romanced Eyeshadow Palette (w7) again and pick up Fairy Tale on a fluffy brush and press it into the crease of your eye an bend upwards at the end to give a flick - this lifts the eye and makes it more feminine looking. Smoke out the excess around the lid to make it more natural. Add Masterpiece Mascara (Maxx Factor) to the top l bottom lashes as it will instantly feminise your face, and curl them up to god. Colour in the water line and inner corner where the water line meets the inner eye with Collection Kohl Eyeline Precision White (Superdrug) to make the eyes look bigger and more feminine. Add winged eyeliner using The Liner Revolution (Revolution) (place fashion tape under a closed eye and follow the diagonal of your inner corner, draw a line on the lids with the eyeliner and then produce the wing, remove the tape and done) and then false eyelashes if you want to (I usually use P.S. Beauty False Eyelashes in Dramatic, Natural or Double Trouble (Primark) as they feminise the face.
Define your cheekbones using the Revolution x Roxi Powder Highlight and Contour Palette Kit (Revolution or Superdrug). I suck my cheeks in and then draw a line where they dip in - these are your natural cheekbones and then your contour will move with you - use heavy and full contour along the line and then buff out with a large fluffy brush. Contour your nose (coat in bronzer and snatch the sides in using Technic Soft Focus Transparent Loose Powder (Technic) and a beauty sponge, add powder to bridge and tip of nose - gives a smaller more feminine nose) and forehead according to your face shape to make the contour seem more natural. Using the beauty blender and powder, snatch in the cheeks by applying powder under the contour and under the eyes, and bake for 2-3 minutes. Pick up Duo Blusher - 01 (w7) on the same brush and swipe across the tip of your nose and the apples of your cheeks (smile and then apply blush). Buff out. Add highlight on the tip and bridge of your nose, inner eye, brow bone, centre of your forehead, chin, cupid's bow and you cheek bones using your Revolution x Roxi Powder Highlight and Contour Palette Kit (Revolution or Superdrug) and then buff to ensure the highlight is blended into your contour. Swipe off the powder on your brows. Top of the blush to give that flushed cheek look.
Set the entire face using Technic Soft Focus Transparent Loose Powder (Technic) and buff out.
Coat your lips in lip balm to make them look juicy and moisturised. Top off with Lipfinity Lip colour - 030 cool (Max factor) to give a matt finish and all day colour.
General Tips and Tricks
Contour heavily but blend fully - this gives a richer contour which gives the face a more rounded look, making it more feminine.
Glitter everywhere - highlight everything as this will make you seem more smooth and blended.
Always add lipstick - even if it's just a nude lip, lipstick makes your lips seem fuller and moisturised.
Eyeliner is key - if you don't feel like going the whole hog with your eyes, just add mascara and eyeliner along the lid; this makes your lashes seem longer.
Pink blush - add pink blush on top of normal blush to give that flushed cheek look - pink blush always makes you seem cuter.
Avoid gold or neutral highlighters - use a blue/white one which is super pigmented and glittery; this will emphasise your facial curves, give the illusion of full face makeup and ease dysphoria.
Cinch your nose. You want your nose to seem as small as possible.
